Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 1, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Same Page Holdings LLC, doing business as DisabilityHeroes.org ("DisabilityHeroes.org," "we," "us," or "our"), collects, uses, and protects the personal information of visitors to our website and the pages where this Policy appears. DisabilityHeroes.org is a first-party informational service: we collect the information you provide so that our own team and representatives can contact you and help you. By using this website, submitting a form, or interacting with our chatbot, you agree to the collection and use of your information as described in this Policy.

Important disclaimer: we are not a government agency.

DisabilityHeroes.org is a privately-owned informational service that helps consumers understand and pursue Social Security disability benefits (SSDI and SSI) and related programs. We are NOT affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by the Social Security Administration (SSA), Medicare, Medicaid, or any federal or state government agency, nor are we a law firm, insurer, or provider of legal, medical, or financial advice. You can apply for and receive Social Security disability benefits (SSDI or SSI) for free, directly through the SSA at www.ssa.gov or by calling the SSA. You are never required to use our website to seek or obtain benefits.

Any dollar figures shown on this website (for example, references to amounts such as "up to $4,152 per month") represent maximum potential federal benefit amounts and are provided for general informational and illustrative purposes only. They are not a promise, guarantee, or estimate of your eligibility, approval, or payment. Actual benefit amounts, if any, are determined solely by the SSA based on your individual circumstances.

Who contacts you.

When you request help through our website or chatbot, DisabilityHeroes.org itself contacts you to provide that help. Our own team and representatives are the sender of every telephone call, text/SMS message, and email you receive as a result of your request. We do not refer you to, or hand your request off to, outside companies who then contact you on their own behalf.

Information we collect about you.

We collect the personal information you provide directly to us and information we collect automatically through technology as you use our website. The categories we collect include:

  • Contact information, such as your first and last name, email address, telephone or mobile number, and ZIP code, which you provide when you register, request information, or interact with our chatbot.
  • Interest and eligibility information, such as the disability benefits, programs, or assistance you are interested in, and any related details you choose to share with us or our chatbot.
  • Device, usage, and analytics information, such as your IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, referring pages, the pages you view, and how you interact with our website. We collect this information using cookies, web beacons, session-replay and analytics tools such as Microsoft Clarity, and similar technologies.
  • Consent records, such as the date, time, IP address, and web page on which you provided consent to be contacted, together with the phone number and email address you submitted.

How we collect information.

We collect information directly from you when you complete a registration form, submit a request, or communicate with our chatbot or our team. We collect information automatically through cookies, web beacons, analytics providers such as Microsoft Clarity, and similar tracking technologies as you use our website and interact with our emails.

How we use your information.

We use the information we collect to respond to your inquiries and provide you with information about disability benefits and related programs; to contact you by telephone call, text/SMS message, email, and mail (including, where you have provided the required consent, through automated systems and pre-recorded or artificial voice messages); to operate, maintain, personalize, analyze, and improve our website and services; to detect and prevent fraud and abuse and to protect the security of our website; and to comply with our legal and regulatory obligations.

SMS/text messaging and telephone contact (TCPA).

When you submit your telephone or mobile number through our website or chatbot and check or accept the consent box, you provide your prior express written consent to receive recurring marketing and informational telephone calls and text/SMS messages FROM DisabilityHeroes.org at the number you provide, including calls and messages made or sent using an automatic telephone dialing system (autodialer) and pre-recorded or artificial voice technology. DisabilityHeroes.org is the sole sender of these calls and messages.

Your consent to receive such calls and messages is NOT a condition of purchasing any goods or services or of receiving any assistance, and you may decline to provide it. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. You can reply STOP to any text message to opt out at any time, or reply HELP for help. Neither wireless carriers nor DisabilityHeroes.org are liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

To revoke consent or stop communications, you may reply STOP to any text message, ask to be placed on our internal do-not-call and do-not-text list during any call, follow the unsubscribe instructions in any email, or email us at privacy@disabilityheroes.org. Please allow a reasonable time to process your request. Even after you opt out, we may still send you transactional or service messages, such as responses to your specific requests.

The mobile opt-in information and consent you provide (including your phone number and consent status) are NOT sold, rented, traded, or shared with any third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. This information is used only by DisabilityHeroes.org, through the service providers who help us operate our telephone and messaging systems, strictly to deliver the calls and messages you requested and to comply with applicable law.

We do not sell or share your information.

We do NOT sell, rent, trade, or share your personal information with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes. Full stop. Your information stays with DisabilityHeroes.org and is used to provide the help you requested.

The only third parties who receive your information are service providers and processors that act on our behalf and under contract, strictly to operate our service and deliver the communications you requested. These include, for example, our website hosting and cloud storage providers, our analytics provider (Microsoft Clarity), and the telephone and SMS delivery platform we use to place the calls and send the messages you asked to receive. These service providers are permitted to use your information only to perform services for us and not for their own marketing.

We may also disclose your information when required to comply with the law, to respond to lawful requests and legal process, to enforce our Terms, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of DisabilityHeroes.org, our users, or others. If all or part of our business is sold, merged, or transferred, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

Cookies and analytics.

We and our service providers use cookies, web beacons, pixels, and tools such as Microsoft Clarity to understand how visitors use our website and to measure and improve performance. You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may affect how the website functions.

Data retention.

We retain personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Policy, including to provide the services you requested, to maintain records of consent, to resolve disputes, and to comply with our legal, tax, accounting, and regulatory obligations. When information is no longer needed, we take reasonable steps to delete, anonymize, or securely dispose of it.

Security.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect the personal information we collect. However, no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children's privacy.

Our website is intended for adults age 18 and older and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 18. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal information, please contact us at privacy@disabilityheroes.org so we can remove it.

Your choices.

You may opt out of communications by replying STOP to text messages, following the unsubscribe instructions in our emails, asking to be added to our internal do-not-call and do-not-text list, or emailing privacy@disabilityheroes.org. You may control cookies and tracking technologies through your browser and available opt-out tools.

Your California privacy rights.

If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act, including the rights to know, delete, and correct your personal information. Because we do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under that law, there is nothing to opt out of for a sale or share. Please see our California Privacy Notice (CCPA) for details and instructions on how to exercise your rights.

Third-party websites.

Our website may link to websites operated by third parties, such as the SSA. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those websites. We encourage you to review the privacy policy of any third-party website you visit.

Changes to this Policy.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated Policy on our website with a revised "updated" date and, where required by law, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the website after any update constitutes your acceptance of the revised Policy.
